Since our launch in January 2012, Toilet Fodder has strived to bring you all the latest entertainment news in Technology, Television, Music, Games and Movies. It's a big job, but somebody's got to do it. Our content is 100% original (just the way momma used to make it!) and is a unique blend of high-quality journalistic integrity, trademark sarcasm and razor sharp wit.
We first launched the blog on Wordpress, where we quickly grew from strength to strength. By the end of our third month we had gained a monthly viewership reaching well into the thousands, and were gaining significant steam on social media platforms as well. We began to want more for our readers, and we were quickly realising that the platform that had nurtured us was stifling our creativity.
We quickly began development of Toilet Fodder 3.0: A modern blog for a modern readership. We wanted Toilet Fodder to become a platform, allowing its content to be read in more flexible ways, to suit our reader. We knew we would have to join Blogger. So here we are! (Yay!)
Joining the Blogger network has allowed our blog to become more social, mobile and dynamic. We now have two twitter accounts, serving up quirky entertainment news, as well as immediate opinions on breaking headlines. We can offer liveblogging, and integration with Facebook.
Most excitingly, we are proud to announce our mobile apps! Simply visit Toilet Fodder from an iPad or iPhone and you will be greeted with a rather lovely app-like version, perfect for some touchy-feely news!
Toilet Fodder 3 is still very much a work in progress, but we will be adding even more content over the coming weeks and months. And where do we go after that? Well, we can't say for sure what the next version of Toilet Fodder will bring, but we can say it's going to be amazing.
